In the afternoon of December 23rd, the signing and unveiling ceremony of "International College and Luban Workshop" was held in Room 306 of the Administrative Office Building of the school. The leaders of the three parties witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation as well as the unveiling of the cooperative projects through the video link on the online platform. The ceremony was presided over by Assistant Principal Ke Jianlin.
In his speech, Executive President Yu Faren briefly introduced the school's achievements and international exchange and cooperation.He pointed out that the university attaches great importance to international exchanges and cooperation, and Thailand, as an important cooperation country in the "Belt and Road", has an important exemplary significance in exchanges and cooperation with China.The signing of the memorandum of cooperation between the two sides is only the first step in a long journey, and we hope that the two sides can share advanced teaching concepts and resources, and carry out in-depth and pragmatic cooperation in a variety of fields, such as teacher and student exchanges, skills training, academic research, and cooperation in running schools.Efforts will be made to improve the level and quality of internationalized talent cultivation of the two universities, jointly explore the internationalized development mode of the two institutions, help our students to improve their academic qualifications and enhance their international vision, and provide talent support for promoting the economic development of the two countries.
At the signing ceremony, Chou Fei, President of Shinawatra University (SIU), made a video message, sent his sincere greetings to the participants and introduced SIU,He said he was looking forward to the establishment of the International College of the International University of Shinawatra in Fuzhou Software Vocational and Technical College and the establishment of the "Luban Workshop" in Shinawatra University. It also actively explores the internationalization development model of "Chinese language + vocational skills", serves the international production capacity cooperation, promotes the domestic universities to follow the Chinese enterprises to go global, and hopes that in the future we can work together to promote the development of international exchanges between the two universities to provide a new impetus.
Mr. Hu Wenhua, the secretary of Hope Education Group, made a speech on the spot, greeted both schools, briefly introduced Hope Education Group, and talked about his views on the significance of the national "One Belt, One Road" strategy in education, and was full of expectations for the future cooperation between the two schools.
In the presence of the leaders and guests of the three parties, President Yu Faren and President Zhou Fei signed the Memorandum of Cooperation between Shinawatra University and Fuzhou Institute of Software Vocational Technology. President Yu Faren and Secretary Hu Wenhua of Hope Education Group unveiled the plaque for the "International Student Cultivation Base of Shinawatra International University".
